End of the year musings and a plan for the New Year

     As the end of the year approaches I look back with joy in my heart about all that God has done in our lives and in our home. He is forever faithful and true even when we are not, and that brings great encouragement to my soul.

     I'm in that post Christmas haze, sluggish from too many good treats, tired from all of the events and parties, blessed from the generosity of others, and overwhelmed by the mess!

     This week my precious daughter turns 6! So on top of two parties which I will share later I wanted to let you know what is in store in the upcoming year, Lord willing.

In no particular order, here they are:

> The kitchen reveal (if we can ever finish painting those cabinets)

> Couponing (why I do it and how I save)

> The conversion of our family room into a fourth bedroom

> Re-painting the bathroom including stenciling the ceiling {something like this from 4men 1lady}

> After Christmas organization

> Making a slip cover for the filing cabinet

> Creating a Christmas tree skirt to match the PB pillow I made this fall here

and hopefully many more!

    On a slightly gigantic note, I was over the moon excited to discover that one of my projects was chosen by Kate of Centsational Girl as her top picks from her Christmas craft link party! Let's just say that there may have been a bit of shrieking and jumping up and down going on! :)

May God bless you and your family in the upcoming new year!
